I saw “Sugar” at the Angelika last night…and there was a Q&A with the co-directors, Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck (the co-directors of Half Nelson), after the film. Very cool. The audience commentary was equally amusing. A few seniors talking back to the screen/the directors — it was like we were in Florida, not New York.
The film is touching — one that sticks...
