It's So Easy to Fall in Love.
hman:
God, this is probably the most boring ‘how-we-met’ stories in the Times ever:
“…The couple met through a mutual friend in 2004 at a New York bar. “I thought he was cute and really nice and funny,” Ms. Thai said. Yet she declined his offer to walk her to the subway.
But she did agree to join him and their friend the following week, and the week after that. When he again offered to...
Pink It Out On Saturday
weiunderpar:
Last Sunday, John Daly and Rory Sabbatini both sported pink to show their support for Amy Mickelson’s battle against breast cancer. Earlier this week, the PGA Wives Association and PGA circulated a memo encouraging wives and players to take part in the “Pink Out” by wearing pink clothing on Saturday at the Crowne Plaza Invitational. Many players also have been wearing a pink ribbon...
My friend is coming back to the US from Hong Kong this weekend — and now I can’t get this song out of my head.

If you’re not reading this blog, you are seriously missing out. It’s Mindy Kaling’s humor + shopping. She stopped for a bit, but she’s back at it.
In this post, she gets points in my book for 1) referencing Kate Winslet as “that little weirdo in Heavenly Creatures” instead of the gal from Titanic and 2) the usage of n.b.

Twitter: where people post zingers, brag occasionally and link to their blogs.
Facebook: where people take quizzes and nobody posts anything (anymore).
Myspace: where the media finds photos of you during your humiliating trial.
FriendFeed: where you’re pretty sure you have an account.
Tumblr: where people post photos of themselves and/or their food.

This is my mom on her 60th birthday - and one of my favorite videos. It was her first trip to Las Vegas (where my father made us go to the Bass Pro Shop - yay! - and every thing we planned to do was canceled, but it was still a great weekend).
And I am sure she will make me take this down as soon as she sees it!

This is — hands down — the best finale recap.
The Daily Intel is reason enough to watch* these shows (including The Hills, The City).
*Or to pretend watch…there’s more to enjoy with the recaps. The show really only provides a visual.
